Vans Pier Classic

The 4th Annual Vans Pier Classic presented by Jack's Surfboards takes over the Huntington Beach pier Wednesday, March 25 through Sunday, March 29. The event, which will be the second stop of the ASP North American Tour and first event of the ASP North America Pro Junior Series, consists of a Men's WQS 2-Star Vans Pro and a Men's Grade 2 Ezekiel Pro Junior. The contest will feature many of the best young surfers in the world vying for title honors and part of the $35,000 up for grabs.

The Stubb's Skytop: SXSW Edition

Supra Footwear dropped a limited number of the latest in their 413 series on Friday.
Supra partnered up with Spin Magazine and Stubb’s Bar-B-Q to present the Stubb’s Skytop at this years SXSW. The Skytop takes its name from the one of the best places to eat and see live music when you are in Austin, and takes its looks from their world famous sauce. For this release, Supra created a special edition which were only to be sold at Stubb’s Bar-B-Q on Friday in Austin, Texas.
The special edition included a pair of Stubb’s Skytops, an apron, a bottle of Stubb’s sauce, all inside a hand made wooden box. The box and the apron were both branded with a 2009 SXSW seal. There were only 50 boxes for sale and each box was hand numbered.
An international release date for the regular edition of this Skytop is set for a couple weeks, with date and store info to follow. Check The Consortium webstore for the Supra Footwear Spring Summer 2009 collection.
